TOYOTA PRIUS ENDLESS EXPERIENCE – Whistler

The Whistler leg of the Toyota Prius Endless Experience was incredible. Here’s a little story and then I’ll let the pictures tell the rest of the tale of how amazing it was. Friday our fearless adventure leader and mountain expert Guillaume (Coast Mountain Guides) took us to scout our route up the mountain to the glacier and then to a rare-to-see ice cave formed in the glacier. Amazing! Saturday it poured rain all day long while we were shooting in and around Whistler village. Rain on the ground level meant snow on the mountain top though, so when we tried to reach our destination Sunday morning – the one we’d scouted only 36 hours earlier – it was impossible to reach due to the amount of snow fall. Through sheer willpower (and a lot of heavy breathing!) we made it to the glacier, carrying gear a couple km’s straight up, and still capturing G, Brad and contest winner Joel on their glacier hike. Special thanks again to Guillaume, the RVRD Cinema guys and the Fairmont Whistler. Check out the pics!
